The selection process for the dental hygiene program at this college seems opaque and lacks transparency. Students are chosen based on criteria that are neither published nor clearly communicated, leaving applicants uncertain about what they need to work on or improve. After wife's multiple applications over the span of four semesters, I’ve seen no feedback, guidance, or explanation of what the program values most in applicants. This lack of transparency is frustrating, as it leaves applicants in the dark, unable to adjust their applications to meet the program's expectations. Even academic advisors appear to be in the dark about the selection process, adding to the confusion and raising questions about whether there’s any standardized or objective criterion at all.

Furthermore, a look at the program’s graduation photos shows a notable lack of diversity among students. It’s concerning that, year after year, the cohorts appear to lack representation from a broad spectrum of backgrounds. This adds to the impression that the program might not be fostering an inclusive environment. Overall, the program’s lack of clarity around the admissions process and the apparent absence of diversity suggest that improvements are needed in both transparency and inclusivity.

Horrible school, ruined my life, provides no help and all their “resources” are just other organizations or programs they’ll refer you to, like the local homeless shelter.

Financial aid office is a joke. If you are a first time college student and have never gone through the financial aid process before, do not expect ANY help from their lazy financial aid staff. You need to google everything yourself and make sure you meet any deadlines. The staff will not lead you in the right direction, it’s either sink or swim. I submitted documents all the way back in March and I was getting strung along, that the documents I submitted were sufficient and simply awaiting review. It’s now August and I was just told yesterday from Jessica on a zoom call, that a few more documents (like bills and emails etc) would help my provisional independence case. Between March and August, I’ve called about a dozen times and I’ve even shown up in person a few times to check on the status of my aid, and each time I was told that the documents were simply being reviewed. Now it’s August and I’m being told that I need more documents? That’s absolutely ridiculous. Now classes have started, it’s after June 30th (after the fafsa deadline) I’ve used my LAST to get a laptop for school, and I don’t even know if I’ll be able to continue to go to class because of lack of aid. I am so upset and disappointed

This is a good school but it's all what you make of it, you have to stay focused it's a lot of destructions here but overall a great school from my experience lots of opportunities

Been going to this school for years sadly. I think any other school would've been better, feels like their goal is to keep you attending for as long as they can to get more money. Every semester seems is a new requirement/ barrier to deal with. Anytime I call I get someone who seems like they're in a rush to get you off the phone or just pass you to someone else. And if they don't know they'll have an attitude. Or emailing I'm waiting weeks for a reply or no reply at all. No reason I should keep having to drive to the school paying for parking just to talk to someone in person to figure out the problem.

The call center reps are extremely rude and combative. I was hung up on by a rep this afternoon for simply asking to be respected handling a concern. They are very ghetto and having no customer skills and the other rep answered by saying hello like it’s house phone.

Do not go to this school professors are not understanding the school is completely unprofessional they loose Importing With all your information. When you reach out for help everyone just pass you around. Professors are not understanding. Do not try to work with your assignments or you have a family emergency or something pop up. Take your financial aid to the curve they’re not worried about if you’re passing or fail.

Great school if you’re ready to buckle down and focus! Universities can have a lot going on and be really distracting, but this school has a balance. There’s definitely fun activities every now and then but when it comes to the academics, they will not leave you hanging either. The classroom sizes are reasonable, giving you the chance to have all of your questions heard and answered.
